I went to OBS camp from 17 till 21 august. On the last day, which was on Sunday, i really felt lazy to go for the camp but i rather go than have to pay $500 for the camp. It ain't cheap; it's really expensive and i can't afford to pay for the camp.
First thing to do was to introduce ourselves, played some games and went up to the store with out bags and then, went down again for our trust fall. There's nothing much about it cos' every camp that i went, there are always trust fall. For the next activity, we had to change our clothes. We thought that we are doing some games or what but then, we were actually were going to do wet activity whch is kayaking. What the hell!! Wet activity on the first day? That's really unexpected. The best part about kayaking was to capsized. It's scary but fun at the same time. We also learn how to rescue people when they capsized. Damn it's difficult. Dahlah kayak tu berat, abeh nak kena angkat lagi..ish3..teruk teruk teruk.. Next day..bangun pagi-pagi, kemas tent, madi semua. Lepas tu gi assemble kat One for All, All for One area untuk naikkan bendera Singapura dan bendera yang lain barulah pergi buat senaman. Adakah patut sebelum tu, kite semua kena main game dulu sebelum exercise..ish3..tapi best jugak..haha..best dok.. Lepas sarapan semua, kena tukar baju pulak..pakai baju untuk wet activity.. Ape lagi, kite pakai lah baju semalam ah.. haha..sejuk sey..kali ni kite semua buat raft.. kecoh habis babe..lol
Third day, land expedition..damn sucks and tired lah sey..from camp 1 to another campsite and sleep there, then for land expedition, walk all the way until Chek Jawa. OMG!! It's damn tiring. Not only that, we also had to carry heavy bags. Urghh!! When we reach there, we rest for 15 minutes and then walk back to another campsite near the pulau ubin jetty. Gosh..the toilet is far from out tent area.. Reach there, set up our tents and have briefing by our instructors about tomorrow's expedition which is ofcourse, kayaking the whole pulau ubin.Let me tell you this, everyone wake up early in the morning, pack our things, put our things in the motorboat and get ready the kayaks..guess what, we were damn early so we decided to do some stretching before we set off to the sea. For every one hour we paddle, we have 10 to 15 minutes break that is ofcourse to drink water,rest for awhile or do business in the water. It's really funny. The part that i hate was paddling along the endless gates. In my mind, i was wondering when is it going to end. Hais..such a long gate. The most interesting part when we were resting was when Murali told us about the Malaysian joke. It was damn funny and we were laughing like nobodys' business. Haha...
It's already 10.15 am and we are almost reaching at the campsite. Semua ape lagi..paddle laju-laju ah. Semua dah tk sabar nak rest. Penat dok. Tangan sakit nak mampus..tapikan..kalau korang nak tau..kite break the resord lah sey..WOHOO!!! Tak percaye gitu. Instructor kate, group dorang yang sebelumnya, dorangnye record dlm 5 atau 6 jam nk sampai kat camp 1.. tapi kite menang dorang ah..nk tau brape jam?? Kite sampai kat camp 1 dalam 4 jam 20 minut. Gerek kan?? Tak percaye kan?? Aku sendiri tak percaye.. Wow!! Haha.. Last night of camp, semua tido lambat. Paling-paling dalam pukul 10.30 malam baru semua tido dan yang part best tu semua bangun pukul 5.30 pagi. Itu pun dah kemas barang, pergi tempat store, letak tent kat luar.. haha.. Itu pun semua tak mandi sebab kena gi assemble kat All for one, One for all..alah..stakat naikkan flag je. Lepas tu pulak, kite exercise. Kesian Sham kena buli dengan instructors yaang lain. haha.. tapi kekek dok..
Semua bukan nye berpeluh..main-main ade lah..lepas ni gi store balik..kemas barang semua,pack barang kite.Sape-sape yang tak buat kerja boleh pergi mandi dah tu sarapan..best kan.. tapi yang tk best tu bile kite semua dah mandi, dah bersih..dapat love letter dari Ahmad. Dalam surat tu tulis yang kite kena tukar baju. Chek chek buat jetty jump lagi. Cekik darah kite je. Haiya..Tapi seronok babe.
